Shirley Beck Physical Therapy is conveniently located and serves the entire Arlington/Washington DC area. My clinic is located on the first floor of my residence, with ground level entrance on the right side of the house. Street parking is available My clinic is located at 1126 N Frederick Street in north Arlington, across from Lacey Woods Park, which is one block west of George Mason Drive and two blocks south of Washington Boulevard. It is near Virginia Hospital Center. My goal is to provide the best care possible for each patient seeking help with developmental delay, babies with torticollis, or children suffering from sport injury. I carry out detailed consultations with each client to determine their health history and assess their goals for the future. Whether it’s improving balance and coordination for a child, or simply regaining full range of motion and strength, I will outline the best and most advanced treatment methods to help get you there. I offer a wide variety of treatment options including neurodevelopmental treatment, myofascial release, therapeutic taping, electrical stimulation, orthotic evaluation and management, and gait training. At Shirley Beck Physical Therapy Inc I believe that everyone should have access to the best physical therapy regardless of prior health history or insurance. I am able to accommodate many patients with very little wait time.

My Team

At Shirley Beck Physical Therapy, I am a solo practitioner and owner of Shirley Beck Physical Therapy and am dedicated to helping my patients. I mainly work with babies and young children but also work with youth and young adults. My clinic is child friendly, involving “play therapy” in a warm, home-like setting. I try to make therapy fun for children as they challenge themselves physically. Parents and/or caregivers actively participate and are given written exercises with pictures to help them learn how to play with their child in a way that is both fun and therapeutic.
